The "Big" Bed

Did you ever ask your mom and dad if you could sleep in their "big bed, just for tonight"?

Sometimes our parents would let us fall asleep in their bed while they watched TV downstairs.

When they tried to wake me up, I'd pretend like I was asleep, hoping they would just forget it and leave me there.  I'm not sure where I thought they'd sleep.  Maybe our beds?  The couch?  Then my dad would just carry me, and that was nice, too.

I love letting our little girl cuddle in our bed.
