Various Items

Things that are currently adorable:

A walk with Daddy awhile back.

 Man, I love those leggings.

First "nap" in her crib.  So what if she was almost 4 months old?

First "sleeping the night" in her crib.  HAH.

Sigh.  Love.

Strolling in NC

Small group Christmas party.  I don't know where her pants went, but they
were zebra striped.

Flying!
Snoopy band-aid on a chubby leg after shots yesterday.
She didn't even cry after the first one, but the second one was just too much!

Flushed, sleepy cheeks.  Simply chewable.
Things that are currently not adorable:
1.  My house.  It looks like a crack house.  Or maybe a house that has been plagued by holidays, travel, sickness, and some hardship.
2.  Speaking of sickness, that stomach virus going around?  Wow.  Not cute.  I'm still down from it.
3.  The cat who thinks everything of the baby's is actually hers.
Ok, maybe it's a little adorable.  But it's annoying.
4. Same said cat feels the constant need to throw litter all over our bathroom.  I'm about to lose it, especially because the other cat will not get over his baby jealousy and is still peeing in our house if not watching with a death stare at all times.  And the two cats won't stop fighting with each other.
5. The next semester of classes is about to start up for the hubs, on the heels of a week of this current class, which he went to with the stomach virus.  Sorry if anyone got it from him, but a dad's gotta do what a dad's gotta do when it comes to graduating in May.
6.  The fact that we just can't seem to get our feet under us.  I thought this year was going to be a fresh start, but wow, it's been a rough couple of weeks.

Life sure is full of ups and downs.  Being a grown-up can be awfully rough, but this one

makes life so awfully good.  Thirteen pounds and 25 inches of so, so good.
