Ok, fine...afternoons. We don't really get up before noon!

I so love baby feet. Especially my baby's feet. |

Honestly, is there a more smiley baby? It's like her mouth can't help but curve upward. |

Why, hello Dahling! I'm ready for my close-up. |

We are doing so well. It's been a little hard this week without Daddy, but I'm up and around and even cooking and cleaning a little. Sleeping, finally, too! For some reason I was so wired that first 5 days, and then on Sunday I had a sob-fest about Lenny going back to work and on Monday afternoon I crashed and have been pretty much in bed since. Baby Girl is a champ, though; for a "technical" premie, she doesn't have any of the issues associated with being early. We really aren't calling her a premie though, since she was a good size at birth and would have been 37 weeks in two more days. She is nursing like a total champ, and I'm so proud of her and pleased that we can share that together with so little stress so far.
I think that after-the-first-week crash is normal - it's the mommy adrenaline settling a bit. I hope you're resting well and allowing others to help you! :) Waverly is precious and I love her toes! Eep!
