Easter, Part 1

I love Easter Sunday.  I love how joyful it is at church.  I love people saying, "He is Risen!" and hearing, "He is Risen, Indeed!" in return.

We had a busy day.  We went "home" for church and saw so many old friends my head was spinning with happiness by the time I got to the car.  Then we headed to my parents' house for an egg hunt and lunch.

The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you. Matthew 28:5-7

And so, we hunted.

Somebunny went right for her basket.

 Bean helped.

She chose some MumMums first; her favorite!

"Ooo bubbles!"

Nana-Easter Bunny got her a little basket of cloth veggies.  She decided to taste this leek first.

She knew just what to do with that sippy cup.

"How 'bout I just taste everything?"

Thank you, Easter Bunny!

  1. You're quite a prolific blogger these past few days, Taylor! I love reading and catching up on your little family adventures and memories. I can hardly believe how quickly Waverly is growing! She is adorable, and wow--standing already! Looks like you're going to have an early walker:).
