Sing with me now!
"Rollin' rollin' rollin', keep them doggies rollin' Rawhiiiiiide!"
She did back-to-belly first, interestingly enough. I actually missed the very first time, which I was super bummed about. For weeks she's been rolling to her side, then wiggling like crazy and getting frustrated. Last Tuesday (the day she first rolled over), she'd been doing it again all morning but my camera was upstairs. She faked me out about five times, so I stuck her on her back and ran upstairs to grab the camera. In the literal 3 seconds I was gone, I came back down to find her on her tummy:
So, I rolled her back over and she was up on her side again so fast that I barely go the camera on in time to get the first video above. The way she figured it out was by using that toy for some leverage. Anyway, now she's a rolling fiend. You lay her down and she spins over in about 2 seconds. She's like Jonny Moseley.
(Anybody remember the SNL video where Jonny Moseley spins around the world fighting crime? Anybody? Anybody?)
Then, guess what she did to me today? She was playing on her tummy on the floor, I was answering an email, and I glance up to just barely catch her rolling onto her back. Ugh! I thought being home with your baby all day meant you'd never miss a thing! Silly kid.
such sweet videos! especially the second one with her facial expression at the end. and the cat trying to get into the video. priceless!!! your life is picture perfect! :)
