About Fields of Green
Hello! Thanks for visiting!
I love Christ, my husband, my precious daughter, my family, my friends, my horses, lots of teenagers and every baby I meet. I used to teach middle school English and now I get to be a mom to my baby girl, "Sweet Pea." That also means I get to spend a lot of time with my four-year-old niece, "Bean." In my spare time, I run a lifestyle portrait photography business with my mother. I'm married to an amazing and very handsome therapist and we serve in youth ministry as volunteers together.
I eat gluten-free food because I have Celiac Disease. My husband is gluten-intolerant and so is our little girl. We are are on a journey toward more natural living, doing things like working to eat organic, ridding our home of yucky chemicals and eating a Paleo diet. I'm not quite a hippie, but maybe I will be one day. And we do it all on a very tight budget!
Photography is my passion. I like traveling, reading, writing, learning, art, gardening, do-it-yourself projects, home projects on a budget, bright colors, and the beach. I'm also passionate about therapeutic horseback riding, teen moms, celiac disease education, helping those who need it and fixing what's broken. I dream of my own fields of green, a rescue farm for animals and broken hearts.
Here at Fields of Green you'll read (and see!) a lot about our lives as we try to live to the fullest, savor each precious moment, and learn more about God as we grow and change.
"I (Jesus) have come that you have life and have it to the full." John 10:10
